Ruffwear - Chladicí postroj Swamp Cooler™ kombinuje konstrukci tříbodového postroje a materiálu chladicích deček Swamp Cooler™.
Tříbodový postroj (nastavitelný kolem krku, hrudníku i pod břichem) je navržen tak, abyste za podélnou rukojeť pomohli psovi bezpečně překonat náročný terén nebo si ho přidržet v rušném prostředí. K uchycení vodítka slouží hliníkový V-kroužek před rukojetí (umožňuje vyšší kontrolu nad psem) nebo pevné očko pod rukojetí (pokud se pes pohybuje před vámi). Pro maximální bezpečnost je postroj vybaven reflexními prvky na hrudníku a po stranách i očkem k uchycení světýlka.
Chlazení zajišťují dva větší panely z materiálu třívrstvé konstrukce (na zádech a hrudníku/břichu):
- vnější vrstva odráží sluneční paprsky a usnadňuje odpařování
- prostřední vrstva je savá a slouží jako zásobárna vody pro odpařování
- hladká síťovina na vnitřní straně udržuje psa v suchu (izoluje od mokré střední vrstvy)
Před použitím je potřeba postroj namočit a přebytečnou vodu vymačkat a tento proces opakovat kdykoliv je potřeba (vodou z lahve, misky, potoka či rybníka). Chlazení nenastává okamžitě, proto je efekt patrný zejména při delším nošení, jen je potřeba udržovat postroj vlhký (když se pes vykoupe nebo si lehne do kaluže, stačí jemně vymačkat). Pokud postroj uschne, hřeje. U dlouhosrstých psů může být efekt chlazení menší, odstíněný vrstvou chlupů.
Chlazení můžete psovi dopřát i bez nošení postroje, vestu Swamp Cooler zip™ snadno obléknete samostatně i pod většinu postrojů (chladí pouze na hrudníku), naopak dečku Swamp Cooler™ obléknete přes postroj (chladí záda, hrudník i břicho). Pokud si pes nosí vlastní sváču a vodu v brašnách od Ruffwearu nebo nosí postroj Web Master™, můžete většinu z nich kombinovat s chladicí přídavnou podporou pro postroje Swamp Cooler Core™.

That's why our consultants have years of practice in selecting the dog sports equipment for a wide spectrum of dogs, activities and people, and they are always ready to advise you about the type, model or size. They might just even recommend a color – they've got a trained eye for what suits our customer.

Materials and maintenance
The Swamp Cooler™ three-layer construction material works on the principle of cooling through water evaporation. For it to perform its function, it is necessary to keep it damp. Clean drinking water is not always available on hand though, and often we’re happy to let the dogs cool off in a pond, river or even just a puddle. Such water is teeming with life though – literally and figuratively, and that’s why we recommend rinsing the cooling series products thoroughly with clean water after every use and leave them dry afterwards. An occasional machine wash doesn't hurt either: just remember to close all the zippers and buckles, wash in lukewarm water (30 °C), use a gentle detergent and program, and allow it to air dry freely.
